The JD is 


a. Job title: Relationship Manager - NRI
b. Reports to the Sr Relationship Manager- NRI/Area Manager NRI / Area Manager Branch Banking/Regional Business Manager
c. Job objective: This position is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining banking relationships with a select group of high net worth customers by providing them exceptional individualized customer service, thereby achieving targeted growth and service norms.
d. Job know how: In depth product knowledge of all branch product selling skills ,customer service skills, MIS familiarity, strong interpersonal skills, some public relations/event management experience, knowledge of regulatory/compliance issues, knowledge of financial market place: e.g. competitive offerings, changes in market place, etc. , knowledge of investment products, services and options.
e. Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills

Functional skills required:

i. Sales ability of a very high order
ii. Excellent command of product and processes knowledge
iii. In-depth understanding of financial instruments, markets and macro micro economic processes.
iv. Ability to carry along all the units involved in the customer service cycle to ensure customer "DELIGHT,"
v. Leadership and managerial skills to coach, guide, train and motivate the NR Client Acquisition Team.
vi. Numerical and analytical skills to calculate returns / Yields / EMI / Etc on products for customers.
vii. Excellent written and oral skills.
viii. Understanding of the credit cycle, for the consumer as well as community banking.
ix. Knowledge of and understanding about the compliance policies and procedures.
x. Ability to function in and add to the performance of a team.
xi. Ensure NR Channel meets its overall revenue
xii. Adherence to all regulatory, statutory and corporate compliance standards and audit requirements in full.
xiii. Liaising with product management team, marketing and other centers for new product development, service enhancements and sales initiatives.
xiv. Co-coordinating with other businesses to generate cross referrals and for providing NR customer's seamless access to all Kotak Mahindra Bank products e.g. direct asset products. etc
xv. Co-coordinating with and training other RM's for delivering a common level of world class service to NRI customers for their financial needs.

Job description:
Develops new and expands existing NRI customer relationship for liabilities specifically and across the range of Kotak product offering. Develops databases for lead generation, identifies market segments. Reviews and monitors effort of assigned Relationship and Sales team. Relationship management follows up with client through telecalling, written correspondence and field visits to provide information of the bank's products and services and seek customer deposits. Building personal relationships with clients through relationship calling efforts and social interaction. Cross sells existing bank products to customers. Informs customers of new products or product enhancement to further expand the banking relationships. Plans and conducts special sales initiative and events for prospective and existing clients. Co-ordinates with other businesses to provide NRI customers with seamless access to other bank products. MIS generation maintains records for all acquisition figures and account upgradations. Maintains complete relationships for assigned customer accounts. Tracks customer complaints/queries and turnaround times to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and provide information for product and service enhancements. Identifying, targeting, converting and maintaining upscale customer relationships for liabilities specifically and across the range of Kotak Mahindra Bank product offerings. Maintaining seamless and continuity in NR customer service by serving as the single window for all NR interactions with Kotak Mahindra Bank and by continuously training other departments


Depending upon the length of experience and skill level the NR executive is given a greater number of relationships to manage and has higher targets in terms of customer targets and revenue.

KRA/SOP:
Create a world class NR liability for Kotak Mahindra Bank to take care of the funding requirements of the Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Meeting monthly acquisition target for liability sales.
Initiating, in consonance with community banking, credit proposals for high net worth individuals to deepen their relationship with KMBL.
Handling NR clients for service needs in India.
Updating and maintaining a comprehensive database.
Creating and maintaining hype and enthusiasm among all branch employees to generate and convert customer/referral leads.
