a. Job title: Relationship Manager - NRI
b. Reports to the Sr Relationship Manager- NRI/Area Manager NRI / Area Manager Branch Banking/Regional Business Manager
c. Job objective: This position is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining banking relationships with a select group of high net worth customers by providing them exceptional individualized customer service, thereby achieving targeted growth and service norms.
d. Job know how: In depth product knowledge of all branch product selling skills ,customer service skills, MIS familiarity, strong interpersonal skills, some public relations/event management experience, knowledge of regulatory/compliance issues, knowledge of financial market place: e.g. competitive offerings, changes in market place, etc. , knowledge of investment products, services and options.

Functional skills required:

i. Sales ability of a very high order
ii. Excellent command of product and processes knowledge
iii. In-depth understanding of financial instruments, markets and macro micro economic processes.

xv. Co-coordinating with and training other RM's for delivering a common level of world class service to NRI customers for their financial needs.

Job description:
Develops new and expands existing NRI customer relationship for liabilities specifically and across the range of Kotak product offering. Develops databases for lead generation, identifies market segments. Reviews and monitors effort of assigned Relationship and Sales team. Relationship management follows up with client through telecalling, written correspondence and field visits to provide information of the bank's products and services and seek customer deposits. Building personal relationships with clients through relationship calling efforts and social interaction. Cross sells existing bank products to customers. Informs customers of new products or product enhancement to further expand the banking relationships. Plans and conducts special sales initiative and events for prospective and existing clients. Co-ordinates with other businesses to provide NRI customers with seamless access to other bank products. MIS generation maintains records for all acquisition figures and account upgradations. Maintains complete relationships for assigned customer accounts. Tracks customer complaints/queries and turnaround times to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and provide information for product and service enhancements. Identifying, targeting, converting and maintaining upscale customer relationships for liabilities specifically and across the range of Kotak Mahindra Bank product offerings. Maintaining seamless and continuity in NR customer service by serving as the single window for all NR interactions with Kotak Mahindra Bank and by continuously training other departments


Depending upon the length of experience and skill level the NR executive is given a greater number of relationships to manage and has higher targets in terms of customer targets and revenue.

KRA/SOP:
Create a world class NR liability for Kotak Mahindra Bank to take care of the funding requirements of the Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Meeting monthly acquisition target for liability sales.
Initiating, in consonance with community banking, credit proposals for high net worth individuals to deepen their relationship with KMBL.
Handling NR clients for service needs in India.
Updating and maintaining a comprehensive database.
Creating and maintaining hype and enthusiasm among all branch employees to generate and convert customer/referral leads.

Purpose:
The jobholder has the responsibility to customer who walk in to Aviva branches with an intent to surrender and secure collections from them by doing an effective follow up.

Context:
The jobholder will work closely with the Regional Manager - Customer Retention and will have the responsibility to help reduce the surrender rate for the assigned branch.

Main Priorities:
·         Meet customers who walk in to the branch with an intent to surrender. Address and try to resolve their queries and concerns with the intent of stalling the surrender and counselling the customer to stay invested upto maturity of the policy
·         Co-ordinate with various teams within & outside operations to fulfill customer requests / address complaints
·         Follow up with customers who chose not to surrender and ensure that the subsequent renewal payments are done

Key Outputs:
·         Contribute in building an efficient and responsive surrender stall team which contributes strongly to the business retention objectives of the Company

Qualifications:
The person should be a graduate with proficiency in computers & versed with MS-Office

Skills/ knowledge:
·        Knowledge of the Indian financial services industry with respect to Insurance
·         Good Interpersonal Skills
·         Good knowledge of customer service&  processes
·         Strong target orientation
·         Ability to manage agitated customers

·         Broad construct of Aviva products


Experience:
§  Should have business interface experience, preferably in field of customer service or renewal collections for 1 - 3 years.

§  Use of basic operational tools like web-forms
